INFANTs

At Bellas Manitas, infants also follow the Creative Curriculum focusing on the following areas of development: 

Social/ Emotional, Physical. Cognitive, and language development. 

Our teachers provide a nurturing and safe environment that encourages infants to explore, bond, and grow at their own pace. 

Each infant is cared for based on their individual schedule. Teachers offer, loving interactions, tummy time, sensory play, music, and story time to support early brain development. 

The ounce scale assessment system is also used for infants. We keep a portfolio of each child's work and milestones to share with families helping you celebrate every step of your child's development teachers meet with families every three months to discuss growth and progress.

Activities at Bellas Manitas Learning Center for infants include: 

• Building strong relationships with teachers 

• Sensory exploration (sight, sound, touch) 

• Motor skills development (tummy time, crawling, grasping) 

• Early language development (babbling, talking, singing, reading) 

• Emotional development (secure attachment and trust) 

• Music and Movement 

These areas are developed thoughtfully and naturally as part of your baby's daily care routine. Our infant classroom is designed to feel warm and home like, providing a calm, loving environment where infants thrive and feel safe.
